Area Sees Lower Than Average Rainfall; More Predicted Late Next Week

We've seen some comments about needing some more rain, and the observations certainly support that. Over the past 60 days, much of the area has seen between 1 and 5 inches of rain below the average. Unfortunately, there are no good chances of rain through the next week. There are some hints of better chances in the days 8-12 timeframe, though confidence in that is low this far out.
